Frequently Asked Questions
1. What does “crate-free boarding” mean at ZoomieZ?
At ZoomieZ, crate-free means no routine crating or caging. Dogs spend their stay relaxing in cozy, furnished spaces, napping on couches, and being supervised by humans . A crate is only used briefly for rare safety or medical needs—not as daily confinement.
2. How many dogs do you board at the same time?
We keep boarding groups intentionally small (typically 4–8 dogs) depending on temperament and energy mix. This ensures calm social dynamics, better supervision, and truly personal care.
3. How do you screen new dogs for boarding or daycare?
Every pup starts with:
1️⃣ A short intake form
2️⃣ A 20–30 min Meet & Greet
3️⃣ A Trial Daycare and Boarding
We assess comfort levels, social cues, and play style to make sure each dog is a safe, happy fit for our crate-free pack.
4. What are your drop-off and pickup timings?
🐕 Day Daycare: Drop-off 7:30–9:30 AM · Pickup : Latest by 6:30 PM
🌙 Boarding: Check-in after 4:00 PM · Check-out by 10:00 AM next day
Need a tweak? Tell us—you’re talking to humans, not a rulebook 🤝
5. Do you separate dogs by size or energy?
Yes! Playgroups are based on temperament and play style more than size. We mix pups thoughtfully by energy level, social comfort, and behavior cues to keep play calm, safe, and fun.
6. What vaccines are required before booking any service?
All dogs must have current Rabies, DHLPP/DA2PP, and Bordetella vaccines. We would need the Vet records before the meet and greet and can be uploaded to our portal or send them directly via WhatsApp—it’s quick, painless, and very “HD” friendly 📸
7. Do you share photos and videos during daycare or boarding?
Absolutely! You’ll get daily photo/video updates via WhatsApp or posted to Instagram Stories/Posts. We always ask permission first and you can opt-out anytime. Our motto: overshare dog joy, never overshare human faces 🐶✨
8. Do you board anxious or shy dogs?
If they’re friendly toward humans and open to gentle introductions, yes. We do slow, positive onboarding so anxious pups feel safe without the stress of crates or chaos.
9. Is ZoomieZ suitable for puppies?
Yes—if they’re fully vaccinated and reliably potty-trained. We include enrichment and nap balance so puppies experience joyful play without overstimulation.
10. What happens if my dog shows signs of illness before their stay?
If a dog is coughing, vomiting, or has diarrhea, we ask that they rest at home until symptom-free for 48 hours. We prioritize pack wellness—because FOMO is cute, but a flu-dog-party is not 😅
11. Can I book daycare or boarding if my dog isn’t spayed/neutered yet?
For dogs under 12 months, yes. For older intact pups, acceptance is case-by-case based on temperament to maintain calm group dynamics.
12. Do you offer refunds or transfers for boarding/day-packs?
Day-packs are non-refundable but transferable to the same dog. Boarding credits follow your booking terms and we’ll always try to suggest alternate dates if we’re full—no overbooking, no chaos.
13. What should I bring for my dog’s stay?
✔️ Collar/Harness
✔️ Labeled food for meal window
✔️ Meds (if any) with instructions
Think of it as packing for school, but with more drool and dignity 😄🐾
14. How is ZoomieZ better than big daycare franchises?
We emphasize small pack sizes, crate-free living, family-run handling, and consistent caregivers. It feels like home, stays calm, and keeps connection strong.
15. Can I message your team before booking a Meet & Greet?
Yes! Hit the chat bubble, WhatsApp, or form—every inquiry goes to the same small team who’ll help guide availability and onboarding.
